Coming Home to Your Body: A Somatic & Myofascial Release Workshop in San Diego
If you’ve ever left a session with me and thought, “I want to keep this feeling going,” you’re not alone.
At the end of many sessions, I’ll offer small practices to explore at home—whether it’s using a therapy ball on a specific area, bringing awareness to how something feels in your body, or simply slowing down enough to notice what’s there.
And I know… those practices don’t always happen.
Not because you don’t care, but because it can be difficult to create the time and space on your own to actually follow through. Life moves quickly, and without guidance, it’s easy to fall back into the same patterns of tension and disconnection.
That’s really why I created this workshop.
Coming Home to Your Body is an opportunity to step out of that cycle and into a more intentional space—one where you can slow down, reconnect, and learn how to work with your body instead of constantly trying to fix it.
During this workshop, we’ll begin with simple somatic awareness practices to help you tune into your body and notice where tension is living. Rather than jumping straight into releasing or correcting, we’ll take time to build awareness and approach sensation with curiosity.
From there, we’ll move into self-myofascial release using therapy balls. Fascia plays a significant role in how our bodies feel and function, and when we work with it slowly and intentionally, we can begin to release tension, restore movement, and support the nervous system in feeling more regulated.
This isn’t about forcing change or pushing through discomfort. It’s about creating the conditions where your body feels safe enough to let go.
You’ll leave with simple, practical tools you can use at home—along with a deeper understanding of your body and a more grounded, connected way of relating to it.
Whether you’re feeling tight, tense, or just looking for a reset, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are.
