2024 Was About Letting Little Lucy Shine: How Honoring My Inner Child Improved My Holistic Wellness

2024 was a year of embracing my inner child. It was all about honoring the joy, playfulness, and spontaneity that comes with letting go of fear and judgment. I let myself get silly—whether that meant slip n’ sliding in the backyard, playing tug of war with friends, or simply dancing around with no care in the world. These moments of pure joy have made my heart lighter, and my mind clearer.

The year kicked off with something that immediately set the tone: I created a play with a group of childhood friends, just like we used to do. There was no audience, no agenda—just a group of friends coming together to play and have fun. And that’s the kind of freedom I’ve embraced ever since.
