Release & Connect: A New Myofascial Release Workshop in San Diego

I’m so excited to share something I’ve been wanting to create for a long time — a space for people to land, slow down, and reconnect.

Starting today — Monday, October 27th, from 6–7:30pm — I’ll be hosting a biweekly workshop at Kava Collective in San Diego called Release & Connect.

This class is all about dropping into your body through gentle movement and self–myofascial release. We’ll use MFR balls to unwind tension, increase awareness, and deepen your connection to your body.

If you’ve ever been on my massage table, you’ve probably heard me talk about how powerful this kind of self–work can be — now we’ll have a consistent space to explore it together.

The “connect” part is just as important. My goal is to help foster a sense of community — to create a space where we can share, be seen, and support each other through our healing journeys. Each session will include a simple go-around question, and after class, you’re invited to stay, chat, and enjoy a nonalcoholic drink at Kava Collective.

This class was inspired by a community yoga class I used to attend in Asheville, NC — one that left me feeling grounded, inspired, and deeply connected. I’ve wanted to mirror that energy ever since.

🕊 A Little Something Personal

I just got back from a retreat in Sedona, AZ, led by my former coach and mentor, Ana Lilia. I had the honor of offering a Myofascial Release class, bodywork, and Reiki while soaking up the grounding, expansive energy of the desert. It was such a beautiful reminder of how important it is to pause and reconnect — something I’m bringing right back with me into this week’s class and sessions.

If you ever hear of a group or retreat that could benefit from an intro to Myofascial Release or needs massages on their retreat, please connect me — I’d love to share this work more widely.
